The country is rife with skydiving facilities that provide training courses; over 300 centers in the U.S. right now offer skydiving instruction of some sort. The Beechcraft twin engine and Cessna 208 Caravan are two popular models used. Some dropzones use a Cessna 182 model for a smaller, more personalized atmosphere. The superior planes used by our network of skydiving centers are subject to the mandated 100-hour FAA inspection in addition to necessary annual inspections to ensure the safety and success of each flight, and are for that reason sanctioned by the FAA. Not to mention the many day-to-day examinations executed by an experienced and accomplished pilot. Our extensive network of associate skydiving facilities devote themselves to ensuring a safe and memorable experience.
At one of our centers there are solo and partner skydiving ventures offered. There is a measurable variation between the two in regards to instruction time and requirements.
Tandem skydiving requires the participant to endure a brief 15-20 minute training program addressing standard body movements and signaling to prep you for the flight. You will be tethered to a trained skydiver with the experience to react to emergency situations in the air and can sit back and appreciate the ride.
AFF jumps call for a lot more training; you will skydive solo, neighbored by two competent instructors who will help you if you need it. The AFF course includes 7-levels. These stages combine many distinctive facets to ready you to skydive solo including, but not reduced to, bolstering body placement, 90-360 degree turns and tracking. The closing step serves to verify your ability to utilize each factor to your advantage in fluid combination. If you successfully pass this final test to the fulfillment of your instructors, you've succeeded and can now call yourself a qualified skydiver!
